Shawn C. Silva, D.M.D.

Dr. Silva was first introduced to dentistry via his wife Christine in 1993 where he was trained as a dental assistant in the office in which she worked. He worked as a dental assistant while attending the University of Mass at Lowell and graduated with his bachelor degree in Biological Sciences in 1993. In 1997, he received his associate degree in Dental Hygiene and went into practice as a dental hygienist. Dr. Silva was accepted into the Dental Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine from which he graduated and was licensed in May 2003.   He also continues to  train at the Spear Institute, which gives him the knowledge and skills to treat jaw disorders as well as complex restorative cases. Dr Silva, after completeing a 6 month residency program with the Misch Institute, is now a Fellow of the International Congress of Implanologists. His continued training allows him to place and restore implants. Part of his implant training required using Cad Cam Technology and 3D imaging to properly plan the surgery in advance. Dr Silva and his wife, both lifetime residents of Massachusetts, moved to Wolfeboro,NH. after the birth of their first child, Serena. Silva Family Dentistry opened its doors on November 4,2004.  His son Noah was born in June 2006. Dr. Silva continues to strive for excellence through continuous educational courses which keep him and his staff abreast of the latest dental technological advances,philosophies, and dental procedures. His passion for dental care is vibrantly shown in all he does. He expects nothing but the best for his patients and his team. Silva Family Dentistry is a high quality, family oriented practice which provides a relaxing, enjoyable experience for all ages.

Christine Silva, R.D.H., A.S.

Practice Manager

Christine Silva began her career as a dental assistant in 1988. During this time, she was fortunate to work closely with specialists such as Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Periodontists and Orthodontists. In 1997, she graduated from The University of Vermont with her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. She has most recently attended NHTI to become licensed to administer local anesthesia.  Christine enjoys working alongside her husband which makes Silva Family Dentistry unique and family friendly. Her experience and knowledge in dentistry allows her to work in all facets of the practice. Aside from her 'family' in the practice, she is proud to be the mother to their two children, Serena and Noah .




Rebecca Cousins, R.D.H., B.S.

Rebecca has her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University.  She has been a practicing dental hygienist since 2005 and prides herself on providing comfortable and customized patient care.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and being an active member of her church.


Leah Grayauskie, R.D.H., B.S.

Leah is a registered dental hygienist and joined our team in 2011. She is a “happy” transport from southern New Jersey. She acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science followed by her Dental Hygiene degree in 2004 at which time she immediately started practicing in the Philadelphia region. She moved to New Hampshire and now lives in South Tamworth with her fiance, Jeremy. They enjoy the quiet life while raising Jeremy’s two children, caring for their livestock and enjoying the company of their dog Bailey “The Prince of South Tamworth!"


Jenna Meyer, R.D.H
